Eddie Hall isn’t easing into fight camp — he’s charging straight through it.

The former World’s Strongest Man has officially kicked off preparations for his highly anticipated showdown with Tommy Fury, and if his latest update is anything to go by, he’s leaving absolutely nothing to chance.

At a staggering 157kg (345lbs), Hall has made it clear that size won’t be sacrificed — but everything else is being sharpened.

Hall penned: “157kg / 345lbs Strong, Fit, Fast & Determined! Fight camp has officially begun. Tickets now on sale for the Fury Vs Beast fight! Link in bio & stories. This is going to be an interesting one! Things I’m doing to get in shape….”

That tone sets the stage for what is shaping up to be one of the most unconventional clashes in crossover boxing.

Hall’s approach is as intense as you’d expect — and then some.

His daily routine is built around discipline, repetition, and sheer physical demand.

He said: “Eating Steak and eggs x 3 daily + fermented foods! Fighting, walking and swimming Daily! Sauna + stretch + Hot’n Cold + red light + physio daily!

“Taking everything from @beast_pharm for the edge inc Creatine, Whey, Hydro, Big joint, Big Z, Big D, Omegas, EAAS, Ashwaganda & Biltong.”

It’s a regime that blends old-school brute-force nutrition with modern recovery methods — a combination designed to keep his massive frame functional, explosive, and fight-ready.

But this isn’t just about physical preparation.

Because behind the scenes, this fight has been brewing for reasons far deeper than fitness or curiosity.

What initially looked like a novelty crossover has quickly turned into something far more personal.

Hall’s clash with Tommy Fury — scheduled for June 13 in Manchester under the Misfits Boxing banner — was sparked by a confrontation that spiralled well beyond a simple disagreement.

The flashpoint came during an encounter with John Fury.

“I bumped in John and I had the conversation about fighting Tyson, I saw he was training MMA,” Hall explained on his YouTube channel.

“I was trying to instigate the fight but it rubbed him up the wrong way. But things got a little heated.”

What followed was a shift in tone that changed everything.

“Things got a little bit heated. You’re all full of sht. You’re just all full of fing talk,” he said. “You all walk around like hard men like you’re gonna beat this guy down, beat that guy down, you’ll fight anyone, you’re fighting men. There’s not a lot of action, especially from John.”

From that moment, any sense of a friendly crossover disappeared.

Instead of pursuing a bout with Tyson Fury, Hall found himself on a collision course with Tommy — and he didn’t hesitate to embrace it.

He said: “I’d like to shut your dad up and put you in your place and then maybe I’ll get the Tyson Fury MMA fight. Sorry it has come to this but sometimes men have to settle their differences. This is not a friendly encounter. I want to go in there and prove a point.”

Those words now hang over the entire build-up.

While Hall is grafting through steak-heavy meals, daily swims, and relentless recovery sessions, there’s a clear edge driving every part of his camp.

And stylistically, the fight couldn’t be more contrasting.

Hall brings raw power, size, and a willingness to push physical limits beyond what most fighters would consider sustainable. His recent activity in combat sports — including a stoppage win in MMA — adds another layer of unpredictability.

Fury, on the other hand, represents a technical boxing pedigree, albeit with less consistent ring time in recent years.

It’s a classic mismatch on paper — but one that has become far more compelling due to the emotion behind it.

This isn’t just about boxer versus strongman anymore.

It’s about pride. It’s about proving a point.

And for Hall, it’s about backing up every word with action.
