What started as a surprise crossover has quickly turned into one of the most talked-about fights of the year — and now the exact rules behind Eddie Hall vs Tommy Fury have finally been revealed.

With tensions already bubbling over following a very public war of words, the focus is now shifting to what will actually happen when the two step into the ring on June 13 in Manchester. Get your tickets HERE.

And make no mistake — this isn’t your standard boxing match.

Speaking to TalkSPORT.com, Hall laid out the framework that will define the contest, confirming a format that heavily favours explosiveness over endurance.

“The fight will be with 12oz gloves and will be six, two-minute rounds,” Hall revealed. “I will weigh in at whatever weight I am now to be honest. As long as I’m fit and in shape. It will probably be around the 150kg mark, there is no weight limit.

“With my diet, I’ve been a carnivore for a while now, so will be sticking to meat, eggs and dairy.”

That alone tells you everything about the kind of fight this is shaping up to be.

With a staggering 130lbs difference between the two, many have questioned how the fight can even be sanctioned. But under these crossover rules for Misfits, Hall won’t have to cut weight or compromise his size in any way.

Instead, he’ll step in at full strength — and he’s already made it clear how he plans to use it.

Speaking on Good Morning Britain directly opposite Fury, Hall said that because of his sheer mass: “When I do move, I’ve got to commit. Every attack is gonna be a bullrush.”

At the same time, he’s not ignoring the technical gap, as Hall explained: “Size is always going to be an advantage in a fight. But where there is high skill [gestures to Tommy] it takes away that advantage. This is why this fight works.”

“My technique has come a long way from my last boxing match […] I’ve been working with top-level coaches, high-level sparring,” he added. “Technique takes you so far, but at the end of the day, when somebody has a ten stone weight difference on you and they smash you through your gloves, it’s a different story.”

Across the ring, Tommy Fury is approaching things from a completely different angle. For him, this isn’t novelty — it’s his profession.

“This is not a street fight, this is boxing match rules. And I’m going to expose what I think I can,” Fury said on GMB. And despite the size disparity, there’s no hint of doubt. “It’s not about the size of the dog, it’s about the size of the heart in the dog.”

“I only grew up with heavyweights,” Fury said. “It’s kill or be killed out there, I don’t care who I’m in front of.”

“I don’t fear any man on the planet,” the Love Island alum said. “I don’t care how big they are, how short they are – I’m not bothered.”

That contrast — Hall’s brute force versus Fury’s technical pedigree — is exactly why this fight has captured so much attention.

And despite the spectacle of the fight and the fact that many people in comments sections are highlighting the pair’s well-documented friendship, Fury made it clear that this is a rivalry that has become increasingly personal and based on family.

“I think Eddie and my dad has some cross words,” he explained on GMB. “Me and Eddie have done YouTube videos in the past – good friends. But, one thing that I can’t let slip is somebody calling my father and having cross words with my father [John Fury]. He’s 60 years old, can’t fight, can’t do this himself – so I’m stepping in to get the job done.

“Listen, my father’s done a lengthy jail sentence for standing up for pride and holding that family name, and I’m going to make sure I hold it.”

Hall, in typical fashion, offered a blunt response. “When you’ve got a dad with a mouth like that, things happen, don’t they? […] Me and Tommy haven’t fallen out, but it seems his dad wants to do all the talking.”

And if there was any doubt about his mindset heading into the fight, he’s already made his intentions crystal clear.

“I’d like to shut your dad up and put you in your place and then maybe I’ll get the Tyson Fury MMA fight. Sorry it has come to this but sometimes men have to settle their differences. This is not a friendly encounter,” Hall said on his YouTube channel. “I want to go in there and prove a point.”

June 13 isn’t just about who wins. It’s about whose approach — power or precision — holds up when it matters most. Once again, you can get your tickets HERE.
