You guys know I’m always up for a challenge, and this time, I took on something truly special – my professional wrestling debut for Megaslam Wrestling.
But there’s more to this tale than just stepping into the ring. This one was all about surprising my 11-year-old son, Maximus, and putting a smile on his face.
It all started months ago when I decided to step into the world of pro wrestling. I wanted to learn the ropes, quite literally, and show everyone what ‘The Beast’ is capable of inside that squared circle. So, I teamed up with the fantastic Jesse James West and paid a visit to Megaslam Wrestling. Together, we embarked on this exciting journey of body slams and suplexes.
Over the course of our training, we learned the art of taking rolls, tumbles, slams, and bumps in the ring – all while staying safe. I quickly learned that this would be an amazing new way to use my strength to entertain you all.
But it wasn’t just about the physicality; wrestling is an art, and I also delved into adopting the personality of a wrestler – finding my own character in that larger-than-life world.
Now, here comes the best part. Little did my son Maximus know that his old man was secretly preparing for something big. Months after my training video with Jesse went live, I was going to step between the ropes and make my professional wrestling debut.
On the day of the event, the King’s Hall in Stoke-on-Trent was buzzing with excitement. My wife, my mum, and dad – they were all there in the audience, eager to see what I had in store.

Maximus was also sat in the crowd, like any other fan, not knowing what was about to happen. The tension in the air was palpable, but I had my plan ready.
When the moment was just right, I took to the ring, grabbed the microphone, and announced my surprise entry into the Megaslam Rumble main event. The look on Maximus’ face was priceless!

As ‘The Beast’ Eddie, I fought my way through the elimination-style rumble, showcasing all the moves I had learned during my training. And guess what? I went on to WIN the whole darn thing! It was a moment of triumph, and the energy in that hall was electrifying.
But the most special part was seeing Maximus’s reaction. He was shocked, surprised, and over the moon to see his dad in the spotlight. The smile on his face made all the bumps worth it. It was one of those moments you cherish forever – a father making his son proud and happy.

So, there you have it, folks. My wrestling debut wasn’t just about the sport or the victory; it was about creating magical memories for my family. Maximus had a blast watching his dad in action, and that’s what matters most to me.
Thank you all for being a part of my journey and cheering me on in everything I do. Your support means the world to me, and I promise to keep bringing you excitement and surprises. And who knows? Maybe you’ll see me in the wrestling ring again soon.
Stay strong, stay happy, and keep smiling!
