As the worlds of sports and entertainment continue to clash, few personalities have made as big a splash as Tommy Fury.
Known for his knockout power and impressive skills in the ring, the former Love Island star has taken the influencer boxing scene by storm. With a recent victory against Jake Paul under his belt, the ink has now dried on the contract against his next opponent – YouTuber KSI.
The much-anticipated showdown between Fury and KSI is scheduled for October 14 in Manchester, and fans can hardly contain their excitement. Both fighters have been vocal about their abilities and the outcome they envision for this bout.
Tommy Fury’s confidence is palpable as he addresses the matchup. “I’d be worried if I had world champions after me, like proper killers,” he told Seconds Out’s Radio Rahim. “But I’ve got KSI on my back and a load of other influencer boxers. These fights are easy money for me.”

Drawing comparisons between his previous opponents, Tommy believes KSI won’t be a significant departure from the competition he has faced before. “In my opinion, Jake Paul is better than KSI, and I’ve already dealt with him quite easily,” he remarks, referring to his victorious bout against Paul back in February.
The young fighter, who hails from Manchester, is determined to prove himself as a “proper professional” in a sport that has become awash with YouTubers. He dismisses any notion that KSI’s previous experience makes him a more formidable adversary. “It’s another influencer boxer in a ring with a proper professional,” Tommy emphasizes.
But KSI has remained undeterred by Fury’s power and size. Speaking in a media scrum following his later-overturned victory over Joe Fournier, the YouTuber dismissed Fury’s win over Paul, saying: “Jake Paul ain’t got power like me, bro. I’m different”.
KSI then went on to say how he has “no fear” and that he will “slap” Fury in the ring.

Looking beyond the upcoming fight, Fury has set an ambitious goal for himself – to put an end to YouTubers trying to make their name in the sport of boxing.
“That’s my plan for this year. I want to end YouTube boxing within 12 months,” he declared to Sky Sports. With his eyes firmly fixed on the bigger picture, Tommy seeks to leave a lasting impact on the sport. “All these guys are the same to me. There’s not one that stands out from the rest,” he added.
Fury, 24, has already proven that he has what it takes to succeed in the world of boxing, transitioning from reality television stardom to becoming a genuine force inside the ring. With an undefeated record of 9-0, he continues to build his legacy and solidify his status as a true professional athlete.
As the fight against KSI draws near, fans are eagerly anticipating what promises to be a thrilling battle. Will Tommy Fury’s knockout power be enough to overcome KSI’s unique sparring style and claims of unmatched power? We’ll find out on October 14 when KSI meets TNT.
