Eddie Hall has left fans absolutely stunned after showing off a shockingly tight midsection — and even pulling off a vacuum pose.

The former World’s Strongest Man shared a “full day of eating” video with his 5.4 million Instagram followers, but before even getting to the food, viewers were floored by what they saw in the mirror: a 300lb+ man hitting a pose normally reserved for bodybuilders.

“Vacuum is crazy mate,” one fan commented, while another asked: “How the hell is he doing a vacuum pose? Impressive.”

Others chimed in with “Insane vacuum” and “Fair play on the vacuum mate!”

In the clip, Hall — who has slimmed down dramatically since his competitive Strongman days — not only impressed with his visible abs (an achievement in itself for a man of his size) but also with his serious core control. The vacuum pose, made famous by golden-era bodybuilders, is one of the hardest abdominal techniques to master, even for lighter athletes.

Bodybuilding icon Chris Bumstead has previously explained why it’s such a big deal, saying: “Everyone focuses on ab moves that hit the visible rectus abdominis, the six-pack muscle. But they skip the transverse abdominis, or TVA, which is the deepest layer of abdominal muscles.

“The TVA helps stabilize your core in almost all body movements. A few great exercises that target the TVA include ab rollouts, dead bugs, vacuums [more on those next], and planks.”

Bumstead added: “Performing a vacuum pose, where you pull your stomach and abdominals in as far as you can, is a great tool for training the TVA and helps give the illusion of a smaller waist onstage. Doing vacuums as part of your exercise regimen won’t make your waist physically smaller, but what it does is give you better muscle control and endurance to keep your stomach tight and pulled in.

“To do it, exhale all your air, suck in your belly button toward your spine, tense your core, and hold that as long as possible.”

That’s what made Hall’s version so jaw-dropping — watching a 360lb strongman, known for his insane eating habits and huge lifts, pull off a pose most pros in physique sports spend years perfecting.

Once the posing shock wore off, Hall’s video returned to familiar territory — showcasing a day of serious eating, even in “retirement”.

“A full day of eating is an ex-World’s Strongest Man,” he began the video. “Breakfast is a hundred grams of salmon, three-hundred grams of cottage cheese, and we’ve got lunch we’ve got a kilo tomahawk with two duck eggs and veggies.

“I’ve got a snack. I’ve got three-hundred grams of yogurt with blueberries. Dinner, half a kilo of rib eye with two duck eggs and veggies.”

Despite hanging up his Strongman boots, Hall’s day still added up to a whopping 4,422 calories and 450g of protein – all necessary in maintaining his massive frame. It’s a far cry from the infamous 15,000-calorie days of his WSM prime, but still enough to fuel a heavyweight lifestyle.

Fans of Hall might remember this isn’t his first attempt at a vacuum. Back in 2021, he tried one alongside UK physique star Ryan Terry — known as the “King of Aesthetics.”

Hall previously wowed fans with a vacuum pose while training with UK strength athlete and “King of Aesthetics” Ryan Terry back in 2021. But it’s safe to say that his vacuum has come a long way since then.

This time, though, it’s on another level.
