Devon Larratt And ‘Georgian Hulk’ Levan Saginashvili Just Met Up For A Secret Arm Wrestling Pull And Fans Had A LOT To Say

Two days before East vs West XX in Zürich, Switzerland, the armwrestling world got an unexpected gift — a surprise practice pull between Devon “No Limits” Larratt and Levan Saginashvili, better known as the “Georgian Hulk”.

The moment came courtesy of East vs West Armwrestling’s official YouTube channel, which shared a video showing Devon video-calling Levan and convincing him to come for a training session.

After a bit of persuasion, Levan agreed — and two of the strongest men in the history of the sport found themselves across the table, face to face.

What followed had fans glued to their screens.

The room quickly filled with spectators. Devon’s face turned bright red, Levan’s arm could be seen shaking under pressure, and for a few tense seconds, it really did feel like the irresistible force meeting the immovable object.

As Devon repeated multiple times during the clip: “It’s practice.”

But this was no ordinary practice — it was an event in itself.

Fans wasted no time flooding the comments section with reactions, with one person writing: “This has more hype around it than actual main events.”

“You can almost FEEL the strength of Levan’s hand through the screen. To let DEVON initiate and hold him is unreal,” a second added, with a third writing: “This has got to be one of the most anticipated practice pulls of all time.”

“Damn Levan was shaking,” wrote a fourth, and a fifth commented: “That table was screaming for help.”

Others believed there was more at play, with one viewer writing: “I believe Devon was analyzing him.”

Despite the intensity, both men were clearly enjoying themselves. Levan smiled throughout the exchange, while Devon — grinning ear to ear — repeatedly told those around them that he just wanted “to have some fun.”

There wasn’t much conversation captured between them, with most of their exchanges drowned out by background noise and poor sound quality. But within the armwrestling world, this exchange spoke louder than words.

And the timing couldn’t have been better. The meeting came right before East vs West XX, held on November 1, 2025, in Zürich, Switzerland — one of the biggest events on the global armwrestling calendar.

Here’s how the stacked card played out:

    • Snizhana Babaieva 3–0 Elina Persson (Left Arm Featherweight)
    • Efe Kömek 3–0 Manuel Battaglia (Right Arm Super Heavyweight)
    • Matt Mask 3–1 Serhii Kalinichenko (Left Arm Heavyweight)
    • Mindaugas Tarasaitis 3–0 Danil Ustinov (Right Arm Lightweight)
    • Yoshinobu Kanai 3–0 Petro Marharint (Right Arm Light Heavyweight)
    • Oleg Zhokh 4–0 Toms Rozits (Left Arm Welterweight World Title)
    • Barbora Bajčiová 4–0 Gabriela Vasconcelos (Left Arm Open Weight World Title
    • David Dadikyan 3–0 Kamil Jablonski (Left Arm Super Heavyweight)
    • Todd Hutchings 4–0 Irakli Zirakashvili (Right Arm Middleweight World Title)
    • Oleg Petrenko 4–0 Nugzari Chikadze (Right Arm Light Heavyweight World Title)
    • Dave Chaffee 4–1 Ibragim Sagov (Right Arm Heavyweight World Title)
    • Vitalii Laletin 3–0 Jerry Cadorette (Right Arm Super Heavyweight)

It was a night packed with world titles and elite-level clashes — but somehow, the moment that stole the headlines wasn’t on the main card at all – it was a backroom practice held days before.

Devon and Levan’s practice pull wasn’t about wins or losses. It was about respect, rivalry, and two legends enjoying what they do best. And if fan reactions are anything to go by, this little “practice” might just go down as one of the most talked-about armwrestling moments of the year.
