Eddie Hall appears to be gearing up for another venture into the fight game, with the former World’s Strongest Man teasing that an announcement could be on the way sooner rather than later.

Hall has continued putting in the work following his crossover boxing clash with Tommy Fury on June 14, and his latest update suggests there could already be another target on the horizon.

The 2017 World’s Strongest Man winner shared new pictures of himself working out in the gym on Instagram, making it clear that his training has a purpose beyond simply staying in shape.

Alongside the images, Hall wrote: “Getting that work in’ fight announcement soon.”

It is a short message, but one that will inevitably generate interest around what Hall plans to do next.

The update comes less than two months after he stepped into the ring against Fury at Manchester’s AO Arena in one of the more unusual crossover boxing contests of the year.

Fury ultimately defeated Hall on points, but the intrigue surrounding the matchup had been enormous before either man threw a punch.

Fury entered as the naturally smaller and more experienced boxer, bringing an unbeaten professional record and considerably more time spent inside a boxing ring.

Hall represented something completely different.

The former Strongman brought enormous size, strength and raw power into the contest, with more than 100lb separating the pair when they made their respective walks to the ring.

That made Hall a major unknown despite Fury entering as the clear betting favourite.

Hall started quickly and was able to land some impressive shots, giving Fury the type of physical challenge that had made the contest so intriguing in the first place.

However, Fury increasingly found his way into the fight as it progressed.

His greater boxing experience ultimately proved decisive, allowing him to navigate the contest professionally and secure the points victory after the fight went the distance.

Fury dedicated his victory to his newborn son, Midas, following the result.

Hall, meanwhile, was already looking towards what might come next.

Rather than suggesting the Fury fight would represent the end of his combat sports ambitions, Hall expressed an interest in taking further fights, either under the Misfits Boxing banner or in MMA.

His latest gym update now appears to be the clearest indication yet that another fight could indeed be coming.

Exactly what form that will take has not been revealed.

Hall’s post does not name an opponent, promotion, date or even specify which combat sport his next appearance will involve.

For now, the only concrete clue is Hall’s own suggestion that a “fight announcement” is coming “soon.”
