Fans of Brian Shaw may have been wondering how the former World’s Strongest Man is shaping up ahead of his MMA debut in 2024…
Well now they don’t have to. Shaw recently tackled the infamous 20,000-calorie octuple bypass burger at the world-famous hospital-themed Heart Attack Grill in Las Vegas, Nevada. Usually known for his extraordinary feats of strength, Shaw took a break from his intense MMA training camp to indulge in the ultimate cheat meal.
The gargantuan “Octuple Bypass” burger, a towering creation with eight half-pound patties, 40 bacon strips, tons of cheese, chili, and tomato, has just under 20,000 calories, and was the centrepiece of Shaw’s epic food challenge.
Taking on the challenge with his fellow strongman buddy Nick Best, Shaw was confident of tackling the whole meal – which is good considering the forfeit was getting viciously spanked by the group of waitresses dressed up as nurses.
So how did Brian and Nick do? Well you’ll need to watch the full video below to find out:
High calorie diets are no big deal for professional strongmen like Brian and Nick, but this meaty mouthful was even a little much for them. Despite failing to finish, Shaw clearly enjoyed his extreme dining experience. Nick on the other hand didn’t look quite as keen, especially when it came to the spanking…
Fans will be looking forward to seeing more from Shaw as he builds towards his MMA debut in February 2024, when he takes on Eddie Hall, Martyn Ford and Mitchell Hopper in a four man eliminator. Here’s hoping the burgers didn’t keep him out of the gym too long!
